MBA/MS-MIS Full-Time Recommended Schedule
From Information Systems at Pitt Business
As a full-time Katz MBA/MS-MIS dual degree student, you join Katz in the Fall semester and over 21 months complete coursework, internships and other activities that prepare you to take on positions as an IS leader and expert in IS-enabled problem solving. The MBA/MS-MIS course structure is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in IS, maximize your opportunities for internships, and give you the opportunity to develop a specialization that draws together your business and IS specialities.
To complete your MBA requirements in three semesters (i.e. by December of your second year) it is important to finish (a) ALL MBA core courses and (b) 51 credits (48 credits + 3 credit MS-MIS Practicum) in the first 3 semesters. This schedule accomplishes this goal. If you change it, be sure to double check that your modified schedule still meets this constraint.
