Katz offers the opportunity to obtain an MS in Management of Information for students who already have an MBA from Katz or a similar AACSB-accredited institution.

To obtain this degree students must complete a total of 30 credits as follows:
IS Technical Core (9 credits)
- BMIS 2588 - Database Management
- BMIS 2689 - Technology Enabled Business Transformation
- BMIS 2537 - Business Systems Platforms
IS Management Core (9 credits)
- Project Level: BMIS 2051 - Project Management
- Firm Level: BMIS 2034 - IS Planning
- Industry/Market Level: BMIS 2679 - Technology Innovation, Adoption, and Diffusion
MIS Practicum (3 credits)
Specialization (9 credits of electives) (IS Management, Supply Chain Management, Customer Analytics, New Venture Creation/Entrepreneurship)
As an MS-MIS student you will also have the opportunity to work with corporate clients in IS project courses which provide hand-on experience with the management challenges surrounding the effective use of IT in organizations. In the MS-MIS Program, coursework is typically completed within two academic terms (beginning in August and graduating in next April).
[edit] What background do I need for the Katz MS-MIS Program?
Similarly to the MBA/MS-MIS program, the MS-MIS program is designed for students with IS credentials (e.g. a BS in Computer Science or Information Systems), work experience (e.g. participation in IS development projects), or other documented IS activities/interests. In addition, candidates are expected to have obtained an MBA from Katz or a similar AACSB-accredited institution.
[edit] What will I be able to do after completing the Katz MS-MIS Program?
Simlar to Katz MBA/MS-MIS, MS-MIS graduates have accepted a wide range of positions—including business and IT Consultant, Director of IS, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Marketing Manager, Pricing Analyst, IT Auditor, Financial Analyst and entrepreneur.
