Practicum Requirements Prior to Fall 2007

Prior to Fall 2007: Under the old practicum structure you would need to write a 30-40 page paper about and IS management issue/topic. It is typically related to work that you have done/are hoping to do.

After Fall 2007 Under the new practicum you  participate is a class that meets every other week. In this class you develop a plan for ongoing profesional development, conduct an analysis of an industry, firm, and IS management issue that is of interest to you, study industry white papers and academic research that is relevant to the issue, and make a recommendation for how that issue might be addressed. You develop a series of posters (i.e. 7-8 power point slides) and written documents (2-3 pages) that are the focus of discussion during the class sessions.
