The Katz/CBA Information Systems interest group (IS group) conducts path-breaking research, provides courses and degree programs, and engages in service and consulting projects that improve individuals’ and organizations’ ability to recognize and capitalize on opportunities to use information systems to increase efficiency, support growth, and enable innovation.

Through research and study in a range of areas related to information systems the Katz/CBA Information Systems group works to develop and disseminate knowledge about techniques, strategies, and technologies that organizations can apply to more effectively and efficiently achieve their goals. These projects, which includes both faculty and student efforts, result in research publications, white papers, presentations, and course materials which inform, influence, and improve IS management practice.
